I am starting early on the promised Amazing Artists write-ups, beginning with harpist, Linda Mudd. She toured Texas with me as the lead instrument of our band, Voice + Harp, and she is amazing because her heart is really in the music. She rehearses because she wants her harp playing to sound beautiful, and she really does get a song to a beautiful place. She also has a discerning ear for voice, and any singer would be lucky to have her as an accompanist.
Linda and I worked on many song arrangements together, and she wrote several harp arrangements herself, including one the songs from my debut album, “Come Along to the Enchanted Forest,” which was quite an undertaking. It is a fast-paced, intricate song that I wrote and that Michael Cochran arranged for instrumentation, and Linda did a great job of bringing it to life for a harpist to carry alone!
Here is my original recording of “Enchanted Forest” -
And below are two live performances of “Enchanted Forest” showing what Linda was able to do with just harp. Both videos are from performances at the North Texas Irish Festival.

Linda and I are not actively touring together, since she moved, however we might play a concert together in the future. She is a musician with a humility that is a credit to her, and she made a major step in becoming the main instrument on stage for me in 1 and 2 hour-long concerts (which I and any musician can tell you, is a lot to fulfill on a stage that is all yours). I played shruti box to some of her solo Irish tunes, and that turned out to be such an artistic sound for us. We both love music and work on our craft, and through perfect sets or over any stumbling blocks on stage, sound, or our own mistakes, we certainly created three great years of live music!
I know Linda is still training and rehearsing, and if anyone wants to contribute to her as an artist during March 2025, please donate to the Wishing Well on my website - https://mistyposeymusic.com/tip-jars/1622 - and send me a message saying that it is for harpist, Linda Mudd.
