I love making things with wood, myself, and that makes me appreciate anyone who handcrafts their products. Carlton Fine Woods is especially impressive because his projects are so varied! From wooden sea turtles to furniture and cabinetry, you can see how solid and expert his lines are.
He is also an outdoorsman, which leads him to find ways to make products without damaging the environment, truly taking this to heart rather than looking for some large corporation selling-point. And it does not take much, when looking at the photos of his works, to see how real, how deep they are. In a world where we have all grown up seeing so much pressed and glued man-made “wood-like” items, it is amazing to look at his work and see so much solid wood. Gotta love it!
