I just finished singing my Friday set at The North Texas Irish Festival. The sound was incredible - my sound tech was Tim. This festival is so huge. There are events, pipers, music, and all things Celtic, everywhere. It stretches through Fair Park in Dallas, filling the buildings.
I have two more performances tomorrow. Here are some photos from today. Time for a bit of rest tonight.
Saturday is here, and I started this morning with a sound check at another stage at the North Texas Irish Festival. The sound was a very live room with people starting to mill around the vendor booths. Green, my favorite color, is everywhere, along with all of the intricate Celtic knot work and symbols.
